Blockchain-based poker platform Virtue Poker is dipping its toes into the Non-Fungible Tokens industry. The team is also organizing a Celebrity Poker Charity Tournament on Twitch, featuring some renowned players. During the event, several NFTs will be distributed to viewers.

The celebrity poker charity tournament by Virtue Poker serves multiple purposes. First of all, it will highlight the benefits of playing poker on the Ethereum blockchain fairly and transparently. The team will give away several of these NFTs during the upcoming celebrity poker charity tournament on the Twitch platforms. Twelve participants will compete under no-limit Texas Hold ’em rules, including ConsenSys founder Joe Lubin, NBA hall of famer Paul Pierce, Phil Ivey, Nick Rose, Ran Neuner, and others.

All the proceeds from this tournament will go to a charity of choice by the winner. Participants will compete across two tables, with the three remaining players from each table heading to the final. Twitch users can view the action through the main Twitch channel or by watching streams by the individual players.
